Whale and Whalrus
Whale is developed in Python using the Flask web framework. On the frontend side, it relies on:
- Skeleton as a CSS lightweight framework
- Font Awesome for the icons
- Pretty Checkbox for the checkbox customization
- VanillaJS Datepicker for the datepoll creation interface
- JQuery UI and JQuery UI touch punch on the ranking page
On the backend side, Whale heavily relies on Whalrus, which is part of the Whale project.
Whalrus is a Python library dedicated to the computation of single- and multi-winner voting rules. It can be used independently of Whale and is intended for researchers and engineers working on the implementation of voting systems.
It supports a wide range of voting rules.
